Bruce Grant (1893-1977)

American author. He wrote a variety of books, but especially books about American history aimed at children, in particular that of the 'Wild West' ilk. His fiction too tended to concentrate on these themes. Animals and horses also featured in some of his books, with a handful of stories featuring equines. Once again they were of the 'Wild West' or cowboy type theme.

Collector's Info:
Ride Gaucho is by far the easiest of these three to find and is probably more collectable due to the Sam Savitt illustrations. Of the other two, neither are common, with Cyclone being pretty rare. However they are not usually that expensive if copies can be found. All three are hard to find outside of the USA.
